Abstract

One of the main objectives of the company is to obtain maximum profit so that the company can survive in its operational activities. Profit is one of the most important parts of the information needed as material for evaluating and determining the right steps in managing the company in the future. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of liquidity, leverage, and profitability on profit growth with company size as a moderating variable in transportation companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population in this study are transportation companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2019 to 2021, totaling 31 companies. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling, namely sampling by determining several criteria and obtained as many as 20 companies. The data analysis method used is Moderated Regretion Analysis using the SPSS program. Based on the research that has been done, the results show that liquidity can contribute to earnings growth, leverage cannot contribute to earnings growth, and profitability can contribute to earnings growth. Then company size can moderate the effect of liquidity and profitability on profit growth, while company size cannot moderate the effect of leverage on profit growth.
