Abstract

CV. Delindo Reswara is a spare parts store that has adopted an information system. However, there are gaps in its current system. They need a system that can track the location of spare parts and provide forecasting to streamline the re-stocking process. The development of this system uses the extreme programming and Iconix Process approaches, ensuring that each business process is carefully considered. Additionally, the system includes a forecasting feature using the Single Exponential Smoothing method, tested with MAD, MSE, and MAPE metrics to ensure forecasting quality. Furthermore, system testing is done using black-box testing and user acceptance testing (UAT). The research results show that forecasting using the Single Exponential Smoothing method has good forecasting quality. This allows the store to accurately estimate the amount of stock that needs to be replenished and determine the ordering dates more precisely. System has been tested using black-box testing resulting in success in all test case, and user acceptance testing achieved value of 83.33% acceptance towards design segment, 89,33% acceptance towards feature segment, and 92% acceptance towards efficiency, in otherwords system is accepted by the end user. Through this research, an information system has been developed that can manage warehouse stock and assist the re-stocking process through forecasting with Single Exponential Smoothing. For further development, it is recommended that the system perform periodic forecasts or use more complex forecasting methods such as the Holt-Winters method, and find more optimal coding solutions.
