Abstract
Human resource is one of the intellectual capital for a company.Increasingly sharp competition requires companies to have good and quality human resources. Employee performance is an important aspect in human resource management activities that affect the company's performance directly. One way to determine what kind of performance is expected is the recruitment and selection process. This study aims to analyze: (1) The effect of recruitment and selection on employee performance at PT. Sukses Mitra Sejahtera . (2) The effect of recruitment on employee performance at PT. Sukses Mitra Sejahtera. (3) The effect of selection satisfaction on employee performance at PT. Sukses Mitra Sejahtera. The method in this research is quantitative and the instrument used in this study is a questionnaire which is analyzed by SPSS 20. The population in this study were permanent daily employees with a number of 87 people and the sampling technique used was Probability Random Sampling. Based on tests carried out with multiple linear regression analysis, it is proven that the Recruitment Process (X1) and Selection (X2) variables simultaneously affect Employee Performance (Y). Shown by the Fcount value of 8.230 with a significant value of 0.000 <0.001. The t test shows that the Recruitment Process variable (X1) has no significant effect on employee performance. This is indicated by the significant value for the variable X1 0.940> 0.05 and selection (X2) has a significant effect on employee performance. This is indicated by the significant value for the variable X2 0.000 <0.05. The coefficient of determination test shows that the value (R Square) is 0.405. This means that the Recruitment Process (X1) and Selection (X2) variables have an influence on the Employee Performance variable (Y) by 40.5%. Keywords: recruitment, selection, and employee performance FISIP, UPN “Veteran” Jawa Timur)
