Abstract
In the modern era, florists have evolved by offering various products such as flower bouquets, floral arrangements, flower boards, and single flowers, both real and artificial. Unfortunately, the ordering or renting of florist services is still relatively ineffective at present. The purpose of this research is to design a florist rental application using the Design Thinking method, aiming to achieve good usability on an Android-based mobile platform. This study focuses on designing the user interface of a mobile application using the Design Thinking method, which centers on human interests as users of a product to solve a problem or introduce new innovations. The design evaluation phase will be conducted based on the recommendations of ISO 9241-11 for measurement. The testing results after two iterations yielded final scores of Effectiveness at 95.84% and Efficiency at 95.84% for five florist users, while for five customer users, Effectiveness scored 90%, Efficiency scored 99.05%, and in terms of Satisfaction, thirty respondents produced a SUS score of 81.8. These usability results are categorized as good or excellent.
