Abstract
Pabrik asam formiat dari Sodium Hidroksida Dan Karbon Monoksida dengan menggunakan proses barthelot akan dibangun di daerah Manyar, Gresik Jawa Timur. Pabrik ini beroperasi 24 jam dalam sehari 330 hari dalam setahun dengan bahan baku yang digunakan yaitu carbon monoksida 99% dan natrium hidroksida 30%. Produk asam formiat bermanfaat pada industry-industri karet alam, penyamakan kulit, Industri tekstil dan untuk industri kimia sintesis.
