Abstract

Kalipucang Village is located in Tutur District, Pasuruan Regency East Java Province Kalipucang Village relies heavily on the livestock sector dairy cows in their farming business because of the abundant availability of feed and climate which supports. The number of dairy cows in Kalipucang Village reaches 2,600 heads and produce approximately 20,800 liters of milk every day. Residents in Kalipucang Village processing cow's milk into various superior products, namely milk candies, sticks milk, milk crackers and yogurt. In addition, pure cow's milk that comes from the Village Kalipucang also supplies milk for several dairy processing industries in Indonesia East Java. The abundance of cow's milk in Kalipucang Village encourages students participant of the Chemical Engineering Village Development Program “Veteran” Development University East Java to innovate dairy products, namely mozzarella cheese as well make mozzarella cheese factory design.
