Abstract
Increasing broiler production in Bekasi is in line with fluctuations in the increasing demand for broiler chickens. The increase in demand can be influenced by consumer behavior factors on broiler purchasing decisions. This study aims to analyze the influence of consumer behavior on broiler chicken purchasing decisions in the modern market of Bekasi City. The method used in this study is quantitative using descriptive and structural data analysis. Partial Least Squares Equation Model (SEM PLS). Respondents in this study were 58 with criteria that must be met, namely, respondents were the last consumers of Super Indo broiler chicken products in Bekasi with an intensity of once in the last four months. Data collection is carried out through the distribution of questionnaires. Data processing is carried out using the Partial Least Square (PLS) method.In this study, personal factors consisting of age, occupation, income, education, and lifestyle have a significant effect, with a significant value of <0.001. Besides that, psychological factors, consisting of perceptions, experiences, and attitudes have a significant effect on purchasing decisions with a significant value of 0.005, while cultural factors and social factors do not affect purchasing decisions.
