Abstract
The Tiktok application contains spill outfit promotional content which is widely discussed by teenagers. Content with lots of references to fashion outfits accompanied by delivery of interesting product information and the ease of making purchases can make teenagers become more consumptive. The purpose of this study was to find out the role of spill outfit promotional content on Tiktok on the consumptive behavior of young women in Surabaya. This research uses a qualitative descriptive study by conducting in-depth interviews. The results of this study note that there are several factors that support the occurrence of adolescent consumptive behavior after viewing spill outfit promotional content, namely internal factors in the form of desires from within the individual and external factors such as the demands of the times, association, and promo advertisements. The existence of spill outfit promotional content also has a positive impact that makes teenagers have outfit references, but also has a negative impact that makes teenagers even more wasteful.
