Abstract

The development of information technology causes data processing of an agency to become complex, so it needs to be taken seriously. This is felt by the Total Life Clinic which has problems related to processing data that is still documented manually, one example is processing medical record data. Limited information media also causes patients to often feel disappointed with the uncertainty of the existing service schedule and also the accumulation of queues at certain times. To overcome this, it is hoped that there will be a support system for new business processes according to needs, which currently at the Total Life Clinic still does not allow information technology to support data processing that can run across platforms, programming languages and operating systems for each system. With the findings of the above problems, the Clinical Information System website is expected to be able to help overcome existing problems. The construction of a web system that runs online is expected to be able to answer problems regarding frequent schedule changes and also existing service queues. Medical record data processing can also be accessed directly by patients who use clinical services. This research implements the REST API architecture to bridge several systems owned by Total Life Clinic, where this architecture allows several systems to access the same database without differentiating platforms, programming languages and operating systems for each system. The system development method uses the Waterfall Model approach. System modeling is carried out object-oriented with the UML approach using the ICONIX Process. The final result of this research is a Clinical Information System website that is connected to the clinic server via a REST API architecture. The existence of this system is able to overcome existing problems. This system is proven to help patients find out about available services, register online and help the Total Life Clinic process data centrally on one server.
