Abstract
Sweet corn is one of popular agriculture’s commodities because it has a sweet flavor, contains a lot of carbohydrates and sucroses, low fat so it is safe for diabetics consumption. The goal of this research is to know the right and efficient combination of concentration and time interval of biofertilizier for the growth and yield of sweet corn plants. This research was conducted at field in Desa Kandangrejo, Kecamatan Kedungpring, Kabupaten Lamongan using Randomized Block Design with 2 factors. The first factor is concentration of biofertilizer which has 4 levels (0 ml/l, 10 ml/l, 15 ml/l, and 20 ml/l). The second factor is time interval of biofertilizer which has 3 levels (when planting, when planting + 10 days interval, when planting + 20 days interval). The metode that used is 12 combination treatments repeated 3 times and continued with 5% Honestly Significant Difference. The result showed that there is interaction between concentration and time interval of biofertilizer on the number of leaves at 49 days after planting, tend to be best treatment is concentration 15 ml/l and time interval when planting + 20 days interval. Concentration 15 ml/l showed that there is a significant difference for plant length, number of leaves, cob length with and without husk per plant, cob diameter with and without husk per plant, cob weight with and without husk per plant, sweetness index, yield of cob with husk per plot and yield per hectare. Time interval of biofertilizer showed that there is no significant difference for each parameters. Keywords : Sweet Corn, Biofertilizer, Concentration, Time Interval.
