Abstract

The development of Science and Technology that improves human thought patterns. One of the technologies used to record information is manual and simple, namely using Microsoft Office Excel or bookkeeping, but with the development of the old system technology is rarely used to store data that is of medium scale or even large, therefore it takes the role of the database. PDAM Surya Sembada City of Surabaya makes an opportunity for students to be able to carry out Field Work Practices every year. At this time the registration flow of practical work participants register directly by submitting a file, where previously information related to participant data is still in the form of bookkeeping and information, the available quota in each field is still manual, so it is necessary to build a system that is able to manage so that it can provide information related to registration and data on participants in field work practices. The Job Training Participant Information System (SIMPPKL) of the Surya Sembada PDAM Surabaya based on the website was built to improve services for the admission of participants for students who want to do practical work or internships. The importance of information systems for the company is a means that can be a reference for managing certain performance. The expected results in making a web that is, can display information about the interests in the acceptance of prospective fieldwork participants or internships in the form of a website-shaped system that can be used by employees or company leaders.
