Abstract
This study aims to find out how the application of accounting in running its business and to find out what obstacles caused SAK EMKM not to be implemented properly and correctly by UMKM actors. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Methods in collecting data using the method of observation and interviews. This research was conducted on 10 UMKM this is based on UMKM that already have a business license. The selected UMKM consist of UMKM of pottery, basic necessities, tobacco and UMKM of food and beverages. The results of this study indicate that there are still many UMKM actors who have not implemented accounting properly and correctly, ignorance and lack of awareness of the importance of SAK EMKM also causes accounting not to be applied in accordance with with applicable standards Keywords: Accounting ,UMKM
