Abstract
The purpose of this study is to obtain empirical evidence about the effect of intellectual capital which is proxied VAICTM on firm’s value which proxied Tobins’Q and financial performance which proxied ROA as intervening variable. The subject of this research are banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2016-2018. The samples in this study used nonprobability sampling with purposive sampling with total of 105 samples that met the criteria. The analysis technique in this study uses path analysis with Software IBM SPSS Statisitics 22. This study obtained the result of (1) Intellectual capital doesn’t affect the firm’s value on banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange; (2) Intellectual capital has affects the financial performance on banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange; (3) Financial performance has affects the firm’s value on banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange; (4) Intellectual capital has affects the firm’s value as through financial performance on banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.
