Abstract
The effect of using AB Mix and BS nutrients on water spinach plants by hydroponics. This study uses the ANOVA test analysis and t-test. Observations of kale at the age of 7 days after planting and 28 days after planting showed differences in the average plant length and number of leaves. The observations of plant length at 28 days after planting showed a significantly different treatment. The average length growth of kale plants using AB Mix nutrients is 38.5 cm. Meanwhile, the average length growth of water spinach using BS nutrition was 33.9 cm. In the parameter number of kale leaves at each observation age, namely 7, 14, 21 and 28 DAP showed significant differences in treatment. Leaf growth using AB Mix nutrients an average of 23.4 strands. Meanwhile, leaf growth using BS nutrition had an average of 14.4 strands. Observation of wet weight using AB MIX nutrition had an average wet weight of 33.4 grams and on water spinach plants with BS nutrition had an average of 29 grams. Observation of oven dry weight of water spinach plants with AB Mix nutrition had an average dry weight of 4.84. While the oven dry weight using BS nutrition produced an average dry weight of 4.66. Observation of kale plants using BS nutrients for plant length at the age of 28 days after ha rvest or at harvest time has a significantly different treatment from AB Mix nutrients, which means that AB Mix nutrients are considered superior to be used in hydroponic farming systems. The hydroponic nutrient solution that is in the media must have a content that is rich in nutrients for the growth of water spinach plants. Keyword : Hydroponic Nutrition, AB Mix, BS
