Abstract
Chicken manure is organic waste, which requires optimal processing to avoid environmental pollution. One of the treatments that can be offered to process it is to use a bioconversion process. Bioconversion is an overhaul of organic waste by a fermentation process carried out by living things, one of which is BSF larvae. This study aims to determine the amount of reduction that can be done by BSF larvae in treating chicken manure waste with a mixture of various bioactivators including MOL Rice, MOL Pineapple, MOL Papaya, and EM4 and their effect on the growth of BSF larvae and content in BSF larvae. The results of the study showed that the larvae can reduce waste optimally in chicken manure without a mixture and with a mixture of EM4. The average length growth is 0.7 cm and the average weight growth is 0.4 gr. The best protein and fat content in BSF larvae to be given as feed for laying hens II according to SNI is BSF larvae with feed without a mixture of bioactivators.
