Abstract
Reverse Logistics (RL) has been mainly focused and considered in this decade as a strategy to solve much kind of problems such as: waste problems, the limited number of natural resources, customer relation management and to fulfill the international environmental obligation. Many companies claimed the successful/ implementation of RL, but until now there is no parameter or clear indicator to assess the performance of RL implementation. The goal of this research is to design a conceptual maturity framework to assess the performance of RL implementation. Electronic industries are chosen as preliminary investigation in this research. The maturity level will divide into 5 levels: Conventional, Managed, Developed, Innovative and Optimized. The results show that three electronics companies were on the Level 2 or Managed Level. The RL implementation in this level is very poorly and not well integrated. Need good communication and network between supply chain actors. Keywords: Reverse Logistics; Framework; Performance Assessment; Electronics Industries
