Abstract
A potential management problem is inventory control. Without inventory, the Prima Farma pharmacy will be faced with the risk that at one time it cannot fulfill the wishes of the buyers. With the aim of fulfilling the desires of the buyers, of course raises a demand uncertainty. Inventory control at Prima Farma pharmacies is done in a simple way without doing certain calculations and only based on the amount of the order as usual. This resulted in a problem that was not fulfilled by all buyers' requests and there was often a vacancy in the stock of drugs with the highest level of demand from the drug types Supertetra, Glibenclamide, Simvastatin, Planotab, and Kalmethasone. The purpose of this study was to produce optimal drug supplies at the Prima Farma pharmacy by using the Monte Carlo Simulation method. This is intended to get a solution in inventory control with the basis of demand forecasting for the next period. That way it can be determined how much Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) and Reorder Point (ROP) for each type of drug. Drug inventory control at Prima Farma pharmacy based on inventory forecasting and demand simulations obtained by the proposed Total Cost method of Rp. 168,769,325,07 which turned out to provide savings of 7.71%. With sequential EOQ namely 16 boxes, 60 boxes, 30 boxes, 15 boxes, and 18 boxes. And the ROP respectively are 7 boxes, 12 boxes, 8 boxes, 4 boxes, and 4 boxes. So that the Monte Carlo Simulation Method can reduce the total cost of inventory. Keywords: inventory, control, Simulation, EOQ, ROP
