Abstract
This istudy is proosed ito idescribe the iwaste imanagement strategies in ithe Segoro Tambak iVillage, iSedati iDistrict, iSidoarjo iRegency. iThis research focuses on an integrated waste management system consisting iof ithe stages iof iwaste imanagement and ithe scope iof iwaste imanagement; and waste management strategies analyzed by aspects of public policy according to the George iEdward iIII imodel iincludes aspects of icommunication, iresources, idisposition, iand ibureaucratic structures. The research location is in Segoro Tambak Village, Sedati District, Sidoarjo Regency. iData icollection iwas icarried iout ithrough iinterviews iand documentation. Interviews were conducted with the head of TPST Dadapan Asri, Segoro Tambak Village, officers who handle waste, and residents of Segoro Tambak Village. The data analysis was performed iusing ia iqualitative idescriptive imethod. iThe iresults ishowed ithat TPST Dadapan Asri has implemented waste management stages, namely (1) collecting waste from the houses of local residents; (2) delivering the waste to the TPST; (3) sorting plastic waste or waste that can be resold; and (4) waste combustion system in incineration furnaces. Meanwhile, the waste processing scopes carried out at TPST Dadapan Asri, Segoro Tambak Village is in the scope of sorting and burning. The stages of collecting, transportation, and sorting carried out by TPST Dadapan Asri are two types of businesses that exist within the scope of recycling. Meanwhile, the incineration activity that produces ash is a form of the scope of recovery activities. The results also show that the waste management strategy in Segoro Tambak Village has implemented a public policy model that includes iaspects iof icommunication, iresources, idisposition, iand ibureaucratic istructures.
