Abstract
This study aims to determine the role of the East Java Regional Police in Efforts to Enforce the Crime of Togl Online Crime and to determine the countermeasures that hinder the role of the East Java Regional Police. In this study, the author uses a type of empirical juridical research. Based on the legal material obtained and based on the nature of this research, the writing of this proposal uses a descriptive analysis method, namely describing and explaining the data found in the research, the presentation of the empirical facts presented is carried out using a qualitative approach. Based on the results of research and discussions that have been carried out, the following conclusions can be drawn: future concepts in overcoming obstacles to law enforcement of gambling crimes via the internet cannot be separated from the applicable law and what obstacles occur so that law enforcement against lottery gambling online is not running optimally. Obstacles experienced in law enforcement for online lottery gambling include inadequate law enforcement/human resources, inadequate facilities and infrastructure, difficulty in collecting evidence and catching perpetrators. To be able to enforce the law on online lottery gambling, future concepts in overcoming obstacles to law enforcement of gambling crimes via the internet are needed so that online lottery gambling does not proliferate, namely: holding special training for police in the field of information technology, completing facilities and infrastructure and forming information networks.
