Abstract
Tomatoes are a widely used plant because of their many benefits and the ever- growing demand. In Indonesia, there were ups and downs in tomato productivity. Most tomato plants are grown using inorganic fertilizers as a source of nutrition. Sustainable use of inorganic fertilizers, which is not balanced with the use of organic fertilizers, can reduce soil productivity. An alternative to improving the environment is to combine organic fertilizers and NPK fertilizers at substandard doses to increase crop productivity and fertilizer utilization. This study aims to obtain a combination of organic fertilizers and appropriate doses of NPK fertilizers for the best growth and yield of tomato plants. This study used a fully randomized two-factor design (CRD) -based factor experiment and repeated it three times. The first factor is the type of organic fertilizer at four treatment levels and the second factor is the dose of NPK fertilizer at three treatment levels. The results showed that application of guano fertilizer and application of 300 kg / ha NPK fertilizer interacted with the growth and yield of tomato plants.
