Abstract
The development of the chemical industry in Indonesia in recent years this is increasing. In the era of globalization, growth and development The industrial world in Indonesia is currently growing rapidly which resulting in increasingly competitive industrial world. Oil and natural gas is a much-needed energy resource, because most of the human energy needs for both industrial and household needs are met with oil and gas resources. In To fulfill it, it is necessary to have an effective and efficient way of processing oil and natural gas efficient. PPSDM Migas is present as a human resource development institution in the oil and gas sector. Not only providing training, but PPSDM Migas also has a Professional Certification Agency. Certification Body This profession (LSP) function is to provide certification to employees working in the oil and gas environment. This certification is a sign recognition by the government of a specific level of expertise or skill to special technical personnel. This certification by PPSDM Migas has also been recognized worldwide, as evidenced by the large number of Indonesian certified workers who are accepted for work in various companies abroad especially in the Middle East The ability and skills of qualified human resources are not only obtained from academic education in college, but also by provide opportunities for students to learn directly from the industry includes the implementation of Field Work Practices. Field Work Practice is one of the requirements for compulsory courses that must be taken by students to complete an undergraduate education program majoring in Chemical Engineering. With this Field Work Practice, it is hoped that students - Chemical Engineering students can apply the knowledge that has been obtained during the lectures by conducting an assessment of problems that arise in the environment factory. In addition, also to add a new experience of course to see and feel firsthand the atmosphere of working in the industrial world.
