Abstract
Assets are items that are included in the wealth of a company or organization. The need for information on asset data owned by a company or organization is very important in order to improve performance within the company or organization. The absence of appropriate information to manage assets can hamper operational activities, so it is very important to monitor assets. PT. Krisanthium Offset Printing is a company engaged in printing the packaging of a product made from paper, plastic, or aluminum. Asset management activities at PT. Krisanthium is done using a paper form and then input through a Spreadsheet by HRGA. This makes it difficult for Head per Division/Section to plan asset needs, knowing the amount of goods assets based on the location of the assets and the condition of the assets. In addition, asset management using Spreadsheets also results in frequent data duplication due to repeated input processes and inconsistent data due to errors in the data input process. With these problems, a website-based company asset management information system is needed so that the data processed can maintain the accuracy and clarity of the information, as well as to determine the accuracy in decision making so that the data recapitulation and reporting process can run well. The company's asset management information system is designed using the Waterfall method by implementing the Iconix Process for system design. Then the system was built using the CodeIgniter4 framework and tested using the Black-box testing method. In the trial phase, testing is carried out whether the system built is in accordance with expectations, and the result is that the entire system has been successfully built. The output generated from this research is in the form of a Company Asset Management Information System (SIMAS) which can assist the Admin (HRGA Section) in the process of recapitulation and data reporting can run well, and assist Users (Head per Division/Section) in planning asset requirements. Suggestions that can be given for application development or further research, namely the application of Labeling using a QR Code, it is possible to develop features on the system such as scheduling, and checking the last maintenance.
