Abstract
Siti Jamila is one of the beauty vloggers with disabilities in Indonesia who shares a variety of video make up tutorial videos on Youtube. This research was conducted to determine the beauty representation of Siti Jamila as a person with a disability through a make up tutorial video on Youtube.This study uses qualitative descriptive approach using John Fiske's semiotic analysis which divides the video into three levels, first level of reality, second level of representation, and the level of ideology. Datacollection techniques in this study were obtained from observations of the cut scenes from Siti Jamila’s video make up tutorials.The results of this study indicate that the representation of beauty is women's beauty that is simple and confident. The simplicity of women is shown through the use of natural makeup criteria with non-thick foundation; neatly formed eyebrows; natural color eyeshadow and blush; and lipstick with a non-conspicuous color. As a person with a disability, Siti Jamila appeared confident by always uploading the make up tutorial video on her YouTube channel.Key Word : Representation, Beauty, Disability, Semiotic, Youtube.
