Abstract

Firm value is the result of a firm financial performance in one periode. The purposive of this study is to examine the effect of profitability, profit growth, and capital structure on firm value and to test the ability of corporate social responsibility to moderate the effect of profitability, profit growth, and capital structure on firm value in consumer cyclicals sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015-2019. The type data used in this research is secondary data that comes from the company’s annual report. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling technique using certain criteria in order to obtain 24 companies with 120 annual report. The analysis technique used Partial Least Square using the software WarpPLS 7.0. The result of this study indicate that profitability have an effect on firm value, while profit growth and capital structure has no effect on firm value. As well as the presences of corporate social responsibility as a moderating variable weakens the effect of profit growth on firm value, but is unable to moderate the effect of the profitability and capital structure on firm value.
