Abstract
The coastal area of Bangkalan Regency is an area that is very has great potential, including the potential for natural resources which include several sectors, namely agriculture, animal husbandry, fisheries and mining which are a very potential investment for Bangkalan Regency. Salinity is the amount of salt dissolved in seawater. In this study, taking case study of the coastal area of Bangkalan by analyzing seawater salinity. The method used in this study is remote sensing with The highest processing Landsat 8 Satellite Image is Band_4. This research method uses the measurement of Salinity values at 20 points different, by measuring the coordinates and measuring the Salinity with using a refractometer. This study aims to map the value of salinity on the coast in Bangkalan City, Madura Regency. Expected This research is used as a database for further research development.
