Abstract
The number of sexual violence against children in Indonesia continues to increase. More than 600 cases of sexual violence against children have been recorded in Indonesia. Children as the nation's next generation are vulnerable to outside influences. They are vulnerable to crime not only due to physical factors but also character education in children. Not only crimes from outside, children are also very vulnerable to ABH cases (Children Against the Law) due to the lack of character education of children. Children, especially at an early age, need character education that can take them in a positive direction in the future. Proper character education starting at the child's internal level is very necessary, namely from the family and school as the foundation of children in interacting with the environment. Various preventive measures in order to reduce the number of sexual violence have also been carried out by the government and academics through various educational media. However, it is not optimal in dealing with problems for children. Based on the results of the researchers' observations, there is no educational media for children that leads to an approach to the child's internal self-concept which is made from the interpersonal communication side of the family and school. Educational media is needed by optimizing the child's self-concept at the level of internal dimensions. The research method used is descriptive-qualitative method. The design in this study uses a design method with the concept of self love which refers to modern design methods that refer to four stages, namely identification, analysis, synthesis and evaluation. The output offered in this study is an educational card aimed at early childhood with the aim of instilling character education and positive self-concept values for children from an early age.
