Abstract
Basically the design process is the initial step of the manufacturing process. Most of the production costs are determined in the design and design process. The number of components and the assembly system used greatly affects assembly costs and assembly time. Every product has its constituent components. Among other things, the first part is the basic shape, size and purpose. In the second part, there are specifications of the product, including price, packaging material, quality, name, type. In the development stage of the disinfectant atomizer, the researchers used analysis with the DFA (Design For Assembly) method. The conclusion from this research is that the results of the product development of an automatic disinfectant sprayer with no-touch thermal imaging obtained a price of IDR 1,123,000.00 while the initial product previously developed has a relatively cheap price compared to the previous product with a price difference of Rp. 627,000.00 and besides that the development product also has advantages in its use, if the initial disinfectant sprayer only sprays the disinfectant liquid then this innovative product is equipped with a motion sensor, so when someone passes through the tool it will automatically spray the liquid. disinfectant. Not only that, this tool is also equipped with a temperature sensor that will read the body temperature of every human being who enters the device, and when there is a human whose temperature is above 37 degrees, this tool will automatically send a notification to the local security guard's cellphone for further action.
