Abstract
The superior class program is one alternative that can form students in developing knowledge, skills, self-potential and attitudes to develop optimally. SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Taman is a school that has implemented a superior class program, however the system used in the selection of superior class students still uses manual system. In the process of selecting superior class students there are assessment criteria that are: used are Science Specialization Test Values, Written Test Scores and Test Scores Interview. To assist the school in determining class students excellent service that fits the criteria, a support system is needed decision. Calculations are carried out using the Simple Additive method Weighting (SAW) because it can determine the weight value of each criterion, the result is in the form of a ranking of each student that can be a recommendation for schools to determine which students are eligible to enter the class program superior based on the results of student values that have been processed using SAW method.
