Abstract
Bumiaji sub-district is one of the sub-districts that has excellent geographical conditions and soil nutrients for the development of the agricultural sector, but flood vulnerability is closely related to the type of soil in the Bumiaji area, surface runoff, land cover or vegetation. Soil damage causes changes in soil properties that exceed the standard criteria for soil damage, reducing the ability of soil to produce biomass. This research was conducted to determine whether there is damage to the Bumiaji area and what are the limiting factors of damage in Bumiaji Sub-district. The method used in this research is matching and scoring the results of the matching calculation if the parameter exceeds the critical threshold will be declared damaged, but if not it will be declared not damaged, scoring assessment, relative score calculation is carried out on each land unit used, the calculation of the Relative Frequency (FR) score is the percentage value between damaged parameters to the total number of parameters contained in each land map unit. The results showed that Bumiaji agriculture experienced mild - moderate damage, the land in Bumiaji requires proper land management so that the damage does not become severe, the use of mulch and organic materials is also one option in improvement efforts. Keywords: Damage, Soil, Land Use, Bumiaji.
