Abstract
Developments in educational technology provide new opportunities for enhance historical understanding through innovative approaches. This research explores the design of interactive educational games based on Unity Engine, with focuses on the reconstruction of the events of the Battle of 10 November 1945 in Surabaya. The design approach uses the Interactive Digital Narrative (IDN) method, enabling the development of engaging and participatory narratives. Game testing education is carried out using GUESS-18 and a Likert Scale to measure player engagement and acceptance of the game. The test results show the average 76% positive response from test participants, indicating the effectiveness of the game in convey historical information in an interesting way and utilize sophistication Unity Engine. By implementing the IDN approach and utilizing technology Unity Engine, this research contributes to the development of the method dynamic and inspiring history learning
