Abstract
Penelitian ini memiliki beberapa tujuan yang pertama bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh luas lahan, biaya benih, biaya pupuk, biaya obat-obatan, biaya tenaga kerja, pengalaman usahatani dan iklim terhadap jumlah produksi cabai rawit. Tujuan kedua untuk mengetahui pengaruh harga dan jumlah produksi terhadap pendapatan usahatani cabai rawit. Tujuan ketiga untuk mengetahui kelayakan usahatani cabai rawit dalam satu kali musim tanam di Kecamatan Brondong Kabupaten Lamongan dengan analisa revenue cost (R/C) dan benefit cost (B/C). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa luas lahan, biaya benih, biaya pupuk dan biaya obat-obatan berpengaruh nyata terhadap produksi cabai rawit, sedangkan biaya tenaga kerja tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap produksi cabai rawit. Pengaruh iklim dianalisis menggunakan kuisioner menunjukkan bahwa responden setuju bahwa iklim berpengaruh terhadap produksi cabai rawit. Harga dan jumlah produksi menunjukkan pengaruh nyata terhadap pendapatan usahatani cabai rawit. Hasil analisa R/C ratio sebesar 4,61 dan B/C ratio sebesar 3,61 yang dapat diartikan usahatani cabai rawit di Kecamatan Brondong Kabupaten Lamongan layak diusahakan.
