Abstract
The Covid-19 pandemic that emerged at the end of 2019 disturbed activities almost all over the world. Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) in Saudi Arabia are also feeling the impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic, because many new policies have emerged in Saudi Arabia to maintain survival, especially in health and economic matters with various limitations. The Indonesian Government has a role and responsibility in ensuring the welfare and survival of its people, including Indonesian migrant workers in Saudi Arabia. This research uses the theory of national interests and securitization as the theoretical basis. The research method uses qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach that describes and analyzes phenomena that occur and analyzes through explanations of conditions and situations obtained from websites and Indonesian Government performance reports. The research results show that the Indonesian government has made efforts to protect Indonesian Migrant Workers in Saudi Arabia during the Covid-19 Pandemic in accordance with the 3 main concepts of securitization, such as securitizing move, referent object and existential threat, and extraordinary measures.
