Abstract
Firm value is an indicator of a company's performance that is reflected through stock prices and determined by the dynamics of demand and supply on the stock exchange. High company value illustrates good company performance, and there are several aspects that affect company value, namely foreign ownership and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). This study examines foreign ownership as an independent variable and CSR as an intervening variable in influencing the value of a company in the primary consumer goods sector listed on the IDX during the 2017-2022 period. The sample was obtained using purposive sampling method so that 78 samples were obtained. This study uses Path analysis with SPSS application in testing the hypothesis. The results show that foreign ownership affects firm value, foreign ownership has no effect on CSR, CSR affects firm value and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) does not mediate the relationship between foreign ownership and firm value.
