Abstract
Sodium Sulfate Factory from Sulfuric Acid and Sodium Formate with Process Methanoic Acid with a capacity of 150,000 tons/year is planned to be established in the area of Jl. Krakatau Steel Industrial Area, Purwakarta District, Kota Cilegon, Banten. Sodium sulfate is one of the indispensable ingredients as raw material for upstream products. Sodium sulfate is used as one of the ingredients paper, detergent, glass, textile and other manufacturing industries. In the world Sodium sulfate trade is known and sold in the form: anhydrous sodium sulphate or salt cake, sodium sulphate decahydrate, sodium hydroden sulfide or niter cake. The raw material used is 98% concentrated sulfuric acid obtained from PT Aneka Kimia Inti and sodium formate 98% obtained from PT Humate Tianjin International Limited. This factory will operate for 330 day of the year
