Abstract
Rice is one of the staple foods of the Indonesian population, one of the rice that is favored is organic rice along with the awareness of the community with health. One of the obstacles in storing rice is the presence of a pest attack Sitophilus oryzae. Fragrant pandanus, lemongrass, kaffir lime, and jatropha can be used as biopesticides that are able to resist S. oryzaepest attacks. The purpose of this study was to determine the best types of leaf plants from leaves of fragrant pandanus plants, lemongrass, kaffir lime and jatropha in rejecting S. oryzaepests on organic rice. The study was conducted in March 2019. The average rejection rate was calculated from the imago that entered the treatment bag. The level of damage is calculated from the amount of damage found in the treatment bag. Data analysis used in this study is quantitative analysis using variance analysis (ANOVA). If the results obtained show significant differences then a further test with BNT level of 5% is carried out. Fragrant pandan leaves and kaffir lime have repelency ability, suppress the proliferation of S.oryzae and tend to be able to minimize the level of damage compared to other treatments with a percentage of 0.76% fragrant pandan damage and 0.81% kaffir lime. Keywords: Repelent, Sitophilus oryzae L, Fragrant pandanus, lemongrass, kaffir lime, and jatropha
