Abstract
The diversity of commodities in each region required the determination of superior commodities, so that they can be used as development directions. The purposes of this research was to analyze the leading commodities of the fruit horticulture subsector in Lamongan Regency which will then be used as a basis for agribusiness development. The analytical method used were Location Quotient (LQ) and Delta Location Quotient (ΔLQ) analysis they were used as a reference for classifying commodity potential into four categories: stars, mature, emerging and transforming. Commodities included in the stars category were superior commodities whose development directions were formulated through qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of this research showed that superior commodities were commodities that are included in the stars category such as: guava, soursop, rose apple, mango, papaya, banana and watermelon. The direction for commodity development based on potential and problems was to improve the five agribusiness subsystems such as: providing seed breeding, developing greenhouse technology, procuring processing equipment, marketing digitalization, developing new varieties and providing supporting transportation.
