Abstract
Nitrogen is the most important nutrient in plants as a protein nutrient that helps the photosynthesis process. Phosphorus is an essential nutrient that plays a role in plant quality and root development. Using a combination of Paitan leaf extract and liquid organic fertilizer is an effort to fertilize organically. Paitan leaf extract has a nitrogen nutrient content of 1.17% and phosphorus of 2.01%. Meanwhile, liquid organic fertilizer has a nitrogen content of 4.15% and phosphorus of 4.45%. The aim of administering Paitan leaf extract and liquid organic fertilizer is to determine the best dosage of Paitan leaf extract and liquid organic fertilizer for the soil's nitrogen and phosphorus nutrient content. This research used a Randomized Block Design method consisting of 2 factors, each with 4 treatment levels with 3 replications. The parameters used in the research are soil pH, available N and available P, and plant height. The research results showed that the combination of Paitan extract and liquid organic fertilizer had a real influence on available N and available P. Analysis of N-available showed the highest results at the age of 0-15 DAP amounting to 26.51% and the lowest at the age of 16-30 DAP amounting to 5.19%. Meanwhile, the P-available analysis showed the highest results at the age of 46-60 DAP amounting to 116.41%, and the lowest at the age of 16-30 DAP amounting to 19.53%. Based on these results, the application of Paitan leaf extract and liquid organic fertilizer showed a significant effect on increasing soil nitrogen and phosphorus.
