Abstract
Economic growth is an important sign of the successful economic development of the region. This study aims to understand the effects of regional original income, balance funds, and capital expenditure on economic growth in Malang. The study used time series secondary data from 2006 to 2022. This research approach uses a quantitative approach. Using independent variables are the variables of regional original income, balance funds, and capital expenditure, and the dependent variable is the variable of economic growth. Data analysis techniques use multiple linear regression analysis with the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) model with IBM SPSS 26 as a data processor. The results of this study show that regional real income and balance funds have a positive and significant effect on economic growth, while capital expenditure has no effect on economic growth. These findings can be used to inform policy-making decisions and develop effective strategies to improve economic growth and sustainable development in the region.
