Abstract
The Village Consultative Body is an institution that carry out government functions, members consist of representatives of the villagers based on regional representation and determined democratically. BPD present as a partner of the village government in order to accommodate the aspirations of the people so that together we can empower the people. Therefore Local government administration can be more focused because every aspiration from the community can be accompanied by the Village Consultative Body. until community aspirations can be represented in order to achieve village government which is cleaner from the elements of Corruption, Collusion and Nepotism. The purpose of the study was to determine the role of the Village Consultative Body (BPD) in channeling the aspirations of the village community in Karangrejo Village Ujungpangkah District, Gresik Regency. This study uses the type of Qualitative Descriptive research. The data analysis technique used is data collection, data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the Village Consultative Body Karangrejo has carried out its obligations in channeling aspirations village community in Karangrejo Village, Ujungpangkah District, Gresik, so it can be concluded that the Village Consultative Body Karangrejo Going well but not optimal.
