Abstract
ABSTRACT Longan (Dimocarpus longan L.) is a fruit commodity that has the advantage of high economic value. Stockpile supply is little done because it takes a long time. This study aims to determine the effect of concentration and frequency of paclobutrazol administration on the early growth of longan seedlings. The research was conducted in the greenhouse of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" East Java from April to July 2023. The study was prepared using Complete Randomized Design (RAL) with 2 factors. The first factor is the concentration of paclobutrazol with 5 levels, the second factor is the frequency of paclobutrazol administration with 3 levels. Both combinations are repeated 3 times. The results showed the influence of the interaction of concentration and frequency of administration on the height of seedlings. The best results were obtained from a combination treatment of paclobutrazol concentration of 150 ppm and frequency of administration 2 times.
