Abstract
ABSTRACK The white broccoli plant (Brassica oleracea var. botrytis L.) is one of the plants that is currently popular and in great demand by the public today. Manure is a product derived from livestock business waste, in this case, livestock manure. The aim of this study to determine the right dose of chicken manure in increasing the growth and yield of white broccoli plants. The research was conducted in February - April 2020 at the Experimental Field of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of National Development "Veteran" of East Java. This study used a randomized block design consisting of 7 treatments, namely 7 levels of chicken manure doses, and each treatment was repeated 4 times. The treatment of giving chicken manure doses to broccoli plants was A0 (0 kg/plot), A1 (0,64 kg/plot), A2 (1,28 kg/plot), A3 (1,92 kg/plot), A4 (2,56 kg/plot), A5 (3,2 kg/plot), A6 (3,84 kg/plot). The results showed that the treatment of chicken manure doses of A6 (3,84 kg/plot) on white broccoli plants had a very significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, plant stem diameter, flower weight per plant, and the wet weight of plants per plant otherwise, it did not have a tangible influence on the length of the root plant.
