Abstract
In the Civil Engineering Study Program at the East Java Veterans National Development University, Practical Work can be a mandatory subject that must be taken to achieve graduation. Practical Work can be carried out in various projects, one of which is a road construction project. The Outer West Ring Road Development Project Phase 2 is a road project that is eligible to be chosen as a place to carry out the Practical Work carried out by the implementing contractor from Dewanto-Media, KSO. The West Outer Ring Road in phase 2 is designed as an overpass to avoid areas/regions that always face traffic jam problems and as access to the Gelora Bung Tomo stadium. So that the complexity of this project is expected to be a valuable lesson in our practical work. In a development project must have good project management and construction implementation methods. Project management is the process of managing, allocating, and scheduling resources to achieve specific goals wisely and efficiently. The scope of these limitations is work, work time, safety factor and work budget. While the construction implementation method is the elaboration of the procedures and techniques for carrying out the work to be able to realize the entire plan into the form of a physical building. 9 This practical work report will discuss project management in accordance with Civil Engineering that has been studied in lectures and methods of mapping and determining BM (Benchmark) points on the Outer West Ring road construction project
