Abstract
Cauliflower are horticultural crops of a type vegetable that is quite in demand .This study aims to determine the best planting medium and the right concentration of Gandasil-D for the growth and yield of cauliflower in a Dutch bucket hydroponic system. This research was conducted in August 2022 – October 2022 at Boteng, Menganti, Gresik, East Java. The method used in this study was a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The first factor is the type of planting medium (M) which consisted of 4 treatment levels, M1 (hydroton); M2 (bricks crushed media); M3 (gravel media); M4 (zeolite stone media) and the second factor, the concentration of Gandasil-D (G) wich consist of 4 treatment levels; G0 (0 g/l); G1 (3 g/l); G2 (6 g/l); G3 (9 g/l). The results showed that there was an interaction between the parameters of total fresh weight per plant and flower weight per plant. The treatment of single hydroton media gave the best result for all parameters but was not significantly different from bricks crushed media. single treatment of Gandasil-D concentration of 6 g/l gave the best results on all parameters and was significantly different from the other Gandasil-D concentration.
