Abstract
The production process is an activity to create or add to the usefulness of an item by using existing factors. Production activities carried out by PT. Berdikari Meubel Nusantara includes the production process which is carried out every day starting from PP1, PP2, Woodworking, Sanding, Staining, Weaving, Hardware, Upholstery, Pre-Assy, and Wrapping. PT. Berdikari Meubel Nusantara has standards for the selection of raw materials and standards for the final product. The raw materials used are divided into two, namely the main raw materials and supporting raw materials. The main raw material used is wood, while the supporting raw materials used are foam, cloth, hardware, glue, and wood paint. The quantity and quality of the main raw materials and supporting raw materials will determine the success of achieving targets in the production process. The machines used in the production process are band saw machines, table saw machines, planer machines, sanding machines, jointer machines, tenoner machines, drill machines, router machines, shaper machines, drilling machines or drills, and grinding machines. Products manufactured by PT. Berdikari Furniture Nusantara includes Strandkorb or beach chairs, Hotel and Apartment Furniture, Interior Projects, to household furniture products.
