Abstract

In this increasingly modern era, the increasing popularity of electronic sports, commonly known as E-sport, has become a magnet for some people to try playing games. Accessories or additional equipment for playing games are often called gaming gear, including keyboards, mice, headsets, and mousepads. Fantech itself is a product developed by a gaming peripheral company from Indonesia which was founded in 2009 by three brothers. Researchers are interested in examining how a Fantech Gaming Headset Brand Image as a Brand or Gaming Headset Brand can compete in the Gaming Headset industry field to strengthen brand image on consumer decisions in buying these products among members of the Gamers community in Surabaya. By using qualitative analysis, it was found that product trust, benefits, service, and price perceptions are the hallmarks of Fantech gaming headset products, for risk factors that have the lowest average score, which explains that Fantech gaming headset products have a high risk of product damage, which can make high warranty claims.
