Abstract
This practical work report discusses the process of conducting a gap analysis between the policies implemented by Husky-CNOOC Madura Limited and the requirements outlined in ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015 clauses 4-6. The objective of this study is to evaluate the extent to which the company's policies comply with the specified standards. The research methodology involved an examination of the company's internal documentation, interviews with relevant stakeholders, and on-site observations. The collected data was then analyzed and compared against the provisions outlined in ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015, specifically focusing on clauses 4-6, which encompass leadership responsibilities, worker participation, communication, and environmental risk analysis. The analysis results revealed that a majority of the policies implemented by Husky-CNOOC Madura Limited have met the requirements of ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015 clauses 4-6. However, certain discrepancies or gaps were identified, particularly concerning worker participation in decision-making processes and environmental risk analysis, which were not fully aligned with the prescribed standards. This study concludes that further efforts are needed to address these gaps and ensure that the implemented policies fully comply with the requirements of ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015 clauses 4-6. It is recommended that the company enhance worker participation in health, safety, and environmental decision-making processes and conduct a more comprehensive environmental risk analysis to minimize adverse environmental impacts.
