Abstract
Heinz ABC Ltd. Is a company that moves in food processing in Pasuruan. One of their products is soybean sauce. In East Java, there are 32 companies registered with those soybean sauce industries, that cause the high level of competition in the raw materials aspect, so that emerge the delays of the raw materials from the suppliers. Therefore, the company requires a model of supply control that can optimize the supplies and streamline the production and cost. This research is purposed to do the study towards the model of supply control of the raw materials which is done by the Heinz ABC Indonesia Ltd, and to analyze various raw materials supply models that can be applied in the Heinz ABC Ltd so that the comparison of the previous and the afterwards supply cost efficiency can be discovered. The method in this research is Material Requirement Planning (MRP) that consist of two different lot sizing technics, those are EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) and POQ (Period Order Quantity). The selected lot sizing method is the method that generates the total cost of the raw materials supply to a minimum level that consists of the booking fee, storage, and can be applied in the company. The research result showed that the best lot size technic is the POQ. That technic generates the supply cost as much as Rp19,824,000-,. Meanwhile, the cost which was generated by the company was as much as Rp79,083,933.98, the company can save as much as Rp7,888,569,398 or as much as 74,93% from the previously generated cost.
