Abstract
Earthworms are the main cause that causes infections, the most common health problems found especially. However, there are still many people who do not understand the urgency of preventing this infection. In Indonesia, the problem of the spread of worm infections most often occurs in children. This is due to a lack of personal hygiene and environmental sanitation in children. Thus, children accidentally come into contact with the ground while playing and do not wash their hands before eating which leads to the spread of worm infections. When exposed to worms, the child's growth is disrupted, making it difficult for children to learn. Based on this phenomenon, effective learning is needed about preventing worms in children. An effective learning media for children's learning is animated videos, because the information conveyed can make children understand more and not get bored easily. The method used in this design uses qualitative and quantitative data collection methods. The sources of information used to help the authors carry out the design are literature studies, comparators. In collecting data, the qualitative method used was in-depth interviews, while the quantitative data used questionnaires. After getting the results from the analysis of the data that has been collected, the results of the analysis produce a keyword. The keyword in this design is "Clean Life Free from Worms" which means a clean lifestyle can make children free from worm infections by knowing how to prevent them through animated videos. Furthermore, the concepts that have been created based on keywords will be implemented in stories, characters, and delivery of animation. This animated video contains stories that contain education on worm prevention and is displayed with characters and an entertaining storytelling so that it is hoped that children will be interested and more easily understand the information conveyed.
