Abstract
“Rumah Jaksa Agung Malang” is a homestay that has been operating in the city of Malang since 2017. This homestay records reservation data by write down the reservation’s form that has been submitted by the customer in a guest book and in an Excel/spreadsheet application separately. This method has not been able to speed up the reservation data recording process, and the data in the guest book and Excel/spreadsheet application has not been compiled properly. This problem can be solved by developing a reservation information system to centralize all reservation data and make the reservation process faster and more practical. The method used to solve this problem is the “System Development Life Cycle” method with the “Waterfall” model. This method is used to analyze user requirements, estimate the duration of system development, design a database and user interface, develop the system, and deliver the system to the user. This homestay reservation information system has developed based on the web. With this website, customers can reserve a room without having to ask first about room availability to the administrator of “Rumah Jaksa Agung Malang”, and also makes the process of reservation become easier for “Rumah Jaksa Agung Malang”.
