Abstract
Lombok Island is one of the tourist destinations favored by tourists, both local and foreign. The Mandalika Special Economic Zone or commonly called the Mandalika SEZ is an area that was inaugurated by the government in 2017, and makes this area one of the 10 priority tourism areas. Apart from having beautiful natural and cultural charm, the existence of the Mandalika Circuit in the Mandalika SEZ area makes the attractiveness of Lombok Island even higher. There are quite a lot of natural and cultural potentials in the SEZ Mandalika area, starting from Kuta Beach, Mandalika Beach, Seger Hill, Princess Mandalika Statue, to Sade Village which is famous for its villages that still retain the characteristics of the Sasak tribe itself. Supporting facilities for visiting tourists in the form of existing accommodation are still relatively inadequate to accommodate tourists who come to visit, both in terms of comfort and the unique experience contained in these lodging facilities. By designing a place to stay in the form of a Beach Resort in the KEK Mandalika area, it can make the area with comfortable accommodation by utilizing the existing natural and cultural potential, so that it can attract tourists who will visit the area. The design concept that will be used is Neo-Vernacular Architecture with reference to the design theme, namely "Beremboq Leq Bale", where the design concept will be focused on outer space and inner space with typical Sasak buildings, namely Bale Tani, Bale Jajar and Bale Lumbung as the basic form of residential forms at the resort which will be combined with a modern touch without neglecting the vernacular value itself, so that the goal of designing accommodation facilities can be achieved, namely to facilitate visiting tourists and provide a stay experience with a distinctive atmosphere of Lombok Island.
